Winter - Poem in English
The winter months are approaching, and it gets dark too soon.
The afternoons are so relaxing, sunshine seems a real boon.
Coats and jackets are being aired, mufflers and caps abound.
Woolen socks have to be paired, peanut sellers move around.
Women sit with their knitting, gossiping with neighbours.
Old men are seen sitting, kids entertain them with their capers.
Ice cream vendors lose their trade, while parantha sellers thrive.
